Children's Mental Health Week 1-5 February
Next week is Children’s Mental Health Week and the theme for
the week is ‘Express Yourself’.
We know it’s really important to look after ourselves
mentally and physically and to be aware of when we or others might need help. Expressing ourselves is just one way to help
us feel good and this can be done in many different ways – writing, art, music,
design, cooking, dance, coding. You
don’t have to be good, you just need to enjoy yourself!!
We’ll be starting the week with an assembly to get us
thinking about how we like to express ourselves or maybe what we’d like to have
a go at in the future.
There will be activities to try on class blogs and we’ll be asking
you to share some of the ways that you express yourself.
Information/resources and activities
All our lives are still far from normal and will be in the coming weeks. Again, in Lockdown there may be all kinds of emotions and challenges that you are facing.
Staff are working hard at school to plan for the children's learning but they are also planning for the children's well-being both in school and at home.
In this blog, we will remind you of some of the off-line and on-line resources available and the support networks for well-being and mental health which give advice and support if you need it.
There is also information about accessing food parcels or indeed donating to help others

FOOD PARCELS
Please see the attached flyer providing information on how you can access food parcels and vouchers if required, along with how you can support others within our community during this current lockdown.
Please share this with friends and family so they are all aware of the support over this lockdown. This provision is to offer food and vouchers to all in need, not just those who receive free school meals but those with families receiving a reduced lower income and needing extra support as well as those finding it harder financially having children at home; remote learning.
Please also share so those in a position to donate may also help.
